DealSniper respects your privacy. This policy explains how we process personal data when you use our website, dashboard, alerts, billing, and related SaaS features.
2. Data we process
We may process account details, email address, user preferences, Telegram identifiers, configured hunts/searches, usage metadata, technical logs, subscription status, and limited payment metadata from Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
2a. VIP bookings & cookies
When you book a service via our planner, we process your name, phone number, email address, pickup address, and any shopping list to fulfil your request. This data is stored in our secured database and is accessible only to authorised staff through a password-protected admin panel (HttpOnly session cookie). We use functional cookies for essential operation, including language preference and secure admin sessions.
2b. Why we ask for your phone number
Why do we collect your phone number? We ask for your phone number solely for operational reasons, such as coordinating your scheduled ride, delivery, or giveaway prize. We NEVER sell or share your data with third parties.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to provide the service, secure accounts, send alerts, handle support, comply with legal obligations, and improve DealSniper. Where GDPR applies, our legal bases include contract performance, legal obligation, and legitimate interest.
4. Sharing and retention
We use carefully selected processors such as Stripe and infrastructure providers. We do not sell personal data. Data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described here, unless a longer retention period is legally required.
5. Your rights
Where GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
6. Security and changes
We apply appropriate technical and organizational security measures, but no system is perfectly secure. We may update this policy and will adjust the date above when we do.
